The People’s Inquiry into IPP

The People’s Inquiry into IPP examines the human, legal and institutional harm caused by the sentence. It brings lived experience together with research and expert analysis to press for accountability, reparation and complete, retrospective abolition. Its wider vision includes plans for a National Lived Experience and Survivors Council and an Intercontinental Youth Justice Manifesto. The £10,000 fundraiser is live.
NEW CONNECTIONS SUPPORT CIC
A Stronger Start After Prison

Exemplar Justice Advisory is contracted to raise £25,000 for New Connections Support CIC’s first phase of specialist IPP support. It is designed for people deeply harmed by prolonged imprisonment: those caught in repeated cycles of recall and those still waiting for their first release. The plan aims to support 15–25 people through release planning, help with housing, recovery and emotional wellbeing, and continued support in the community. Direct donations, including £5,000 anchor gifts, are open now; the Crowdfunder will follow.
EXEMPLAR TRANSFORMATION
Exemplar House IAP
£1 million founding appeal · Fundraiser not yet live
Exemplar House is our proposal for a 16-room independent Approved Premises combining public protection, 24-hour support and rehabilitation in a beautifully designed setting. Our ambition is to build it from the ground up. The £1 million target would provide founding capital towards a site, design, construction, fit-out and launch; full costs and any further finance will be confirmed once the property plan is priced. Exemplar Transformation CIC is being formed, and the project will require the necessary approvals and commissioning. Two future feeder recovery houses under Exemplar Group Ltd are separate projects.
